Description of Bakchar honeysuckle
Honeysuckle Beauty Bakchar, or Turchaninka, is a mid-early varietyobtained at the Research Institute of Horticulture of Siberia named after M.A.Lisavenko. The work used seedlings of Turchaninov's honeysuckle No. 15/63 - an elite form, free from pollination, bred at the Far Eastern experimental station of VNIIR im. N.I. Vavilov. Honeysuckle Bakcharskaya belongs to the type of Turchaninov's honeysuckle. Authorship belongs to IK Gidzyuk and ZI Luchnik.
The culture was added to the State Register in 1987 with admission to growing in the open field in the following regions:
- West Siberian - Altai Territory, Kemerovo, Tomsk Regions;
- East Siberian - the Republic of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Bushes are medium-dense, semi-spreading... Young shoots have an anthocyanin coloration. The crumbling rate of the culture is low.
